The Vauxhall Mokka confirmed for production
The Vauxhall Mokka will be released this year after months of speculation it has been confirmed.
The new compact SUV type vehicle will directly compete with the likes of the Nissan Juke, which in itself has proven to be quite a popular vehicle.
Great appeal
Official images of the Vauxhall Mokka have received plenty of fans from fans and experts alike. Dubbed by the company as a mini 4×4, the vehicle seems to have plenty of appeal in the fact that it isn’t too large yet contains some of the qualities of them. That includes an all wheel drive system which adds to the car’s off road credentials.
The stability control helps the handling and acts as an important piece of safety equipment. If the car ever slide off balance, the car’s stability is assisted as much as possible in order to keep everyone safe. There is also a hill descent control which will in great use for many. For those who aren’t too keen on the four wheel drive will have a more fuel efficient front wheel drive available.
Writing on the wall
We recently published an article on our blog named “Is there a new Vauxhall SUV set to be released?” on the 5th of January. Rumours were rife throughout the automotive industry. It was pretty certain that we would get to see the new model arrive on the UK car market after Buick, another car brand under General Motors, released a teaser image recently of a new compact SUV. The whole campaign involved four blocks with one revealed per week apart from the final block. The idea is to unveil the car as a whole at the Geneva Motor Show, building greater anticipation for the annual event.
Engine choices
The engine choices available have enough variety to satisfy most. These include a 1.6 litre petrol capable of producing 113 BHP. This is the lowest of the range but will suit the more conservative type of driver. The 1.4 litre turbo petrol will be able to produce a moderate 138 BHP, which will suit those who require that extra bit of speed. The diesel engine available comes in form of a 1.7 CDTI turbo diesel which produces 128 BHP.
Stay tuned as we reveal more about the car in the upcoming weeks.
