Vauxhall Astra Success 0
The Vauxhall Astra has been one of the most successful cars this year. Not only does it have a huge following amongst the motoring world’s journalists and critics, is it beginning to pick up huge momentum with the general population too. Let’s face it, the seventh generation Vauxhall Astra is an excellent car. This can be demonstrated through the awards it has won this year so far; these include European Car of the Year, a Family Car category win at the What Car? Awards, a Lower Medium category win at the Fleet News Awards and the Game-Changer award from Autocar. This is an impressive list which has just got bigger.
We must therefore say congratulations to the seventh generation Vauxhall Astra for just winning Auto Express’ Compact Family Car of the Year at the in the automotive publishing outfits, New Car category 2016. So the Astra certainly is an amazing car, but why do people love it so much?
Well one of the main reasons for this is because the Astra really is a ‘real’ person’s car. It has good value for money, the technology, comfort and driving statistics are all excellent for a car of this category. Therefore, the Astra certainly deserves to win the award.
Vauxhall’s Chairman and Managing Director Rory Harvey, said that ‘the Astra has excelled once again… It’s great to see how well-received the Astra has been so far and we are pleased that the Astra is being recognised for the hard work that has gone into making this model the best yet.’
It certainly is amazing to see what Vauxhall have accomplished this year so far. The Astra and the Corsa have both excelled and their momentum does not seem to be slowing down at all. We hope that the vehicles continue to do what they are best at, selling and winning awards.
