Vauxhall Mokka TechLine 1.4 turbo 4×4 0

The Vauxhall Mokka TechLine 1.4 litre is finally here. It offers a decent performance, is quite economical and is priced fairly decently. Practicality has also been praised. The price for all of that – £18,200.

The fuel consumption reads at 43.5 MPG with C02 emissions hitting 149g/km. Its top speed hits 121 MPH, racing from 0 – 62 MPH in 9.8 seconds.

Vauxhall are in a transition period at the moment. Their performance here in the UK has been extremely poor over recent times. They have been making a huge loss for the past 12 years. Their owners General Motors were considering closing the Ellesmere plant or abandoning the brand altogether.

Vauxhall have been offering a different perspective on their recent models in order to spice things up. They are in need of a change of direction and the new Mokka could be just the car to help turn the company’s fortunes around

They already have the Vauxhall Ampera available on the market. This in itself is a truly stunning vehicle with next generation technology. It’s the same vehicle as the Chevrolet Volt, which has been a success across the border to some extent, after an initial suspect launch.  Although the Ampera is a wonderful vehicle and is wholly unique, it does come with a stigma of being overwhelmed with technology and for also being overpriced too.

The Vauxhall Adam looks like a great vehicle. The company certainly took advantage of small urban city runners being popular. Being in the same mould as the Fiat 500, the Adam offers more of a personalised product. On top of that there is also the Cascada convertible has also been released, adding some spice to the market.

The first thing you’d probably notice about the Vauxhall Mokka is that it adopts a slightly odd design. Designed here in Europe, the car was developed in South Korea.  That could be a good thing however, with the vehicle being quite unique, adding a new dimension into the car market.

The Vauxhall Mokka has plenty of space for passengers. As mentioned earlier, it’s also very practical too with a great deal of space for luggage and storage.

Other engines apart from the 1.4 litre petrol engine include 1.6 litre petrol and a 1.7 litre engine diesel engine.
