Vauxhall at the Geneva Motor Show 0
The Geneva Motor Show opens its doors to the public today and Vauxhall are using the prestige event to show off three of its forthcoming models: The Insignia Grand Sport, Insignia Sports Tourer, and Crossland X.
In the UK alone last year, Insignia sales were well in excess of 25,000; the new edition is set to feature an entirely new design. It’s new architecture allowing a more spacious cabin, giving the vehicle a more athletic style and improved road stance.
Vauxhall have stated that the new Insignias will feature a whole range of brand new technologies that will make the cars safer, more relaxing and comfortable than ever before. Examples of this include next generation IntelliLix LED matrix lighting, land keep assist, head-up display, front and rear-seat heating plus a heated windscreen.
The cars will also sport brand new infotainment and connectivity kit thanks to the most up to date IntelliLink systems and Vauxhall OnStar features which will give car occupants the ability to book hotel rooms and find available parking spots via an OnStar Advisor.
Vauxhall will also be showcasing the new Crossland X, which has a greater concentration towards driver and passenger comfort than on previous incarnations. The front seats are specially designed AGR-certified while the rear passengers can adjust their seat’s position to increase leg room.
