Vauxhall recall 10,000 vehicles due to sunroof problem 0
Vauxhall has started a recall involving 10,000 of its Adam model after a fault was found with the sunroof that could potentially cause it to detach from the vehicle.
The fault is the result of a defect in the printing process on the glass panel, which could cause the sunroof to separate from the main body of the car.
The recall actually started as early as April; 10,618 Adam models are said to be affected, those built between June 2012 and October 2016.
Despite an initial delay in being able to follow through with the recall due to a shortage of parts, Vauxhall is now fully underway with the fix. The repair involves repairing the adhesive connection between the vehicle body and the glass sunroof panel.
Owners of all affected Adams have been contacted.
